New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke candidly on a range of issues in his first podcast with Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath. When asked about his different tenures as PM in the podcast, PM Modi said that in the first term, people were trying to understand me and I was trying to understand Delhi. In the second term I used to think from the perspective of the past.
All problems should be solved by 2047
PM Modi said that my thinking has changed in the third term. My morale is high. I want solution of all problems by 2047 for developed India. There should be 100% delivery of government schemes. This is real social justice and secularism. The driving force behind this is – AI- ‘Aspirational India’.
I’m not the type to cry over setbacks.
In the podcast, PM Modi said that I am not afraid of defamation. I’m not a person to cry over setbacks. If I got the responsibility of becoming the Prime Minister, I am fulfilling it. In politics one has to take risk every moment. I want a person who takes risks. I will support the youth who take risks. PM Modi said that one should not enter politics with the desire to achieve something. People who give respect to politics should come forward. I come from a normal family. Even if I had become a primary teacher, my mother would have been happy. I was surprised when I became the Chief Minister. I never thought that I would ever become Prime Minister.
What did you say on the question of abusing yourself?
PM Modi said a big thing regarding the criticism from opposition leaders. PM Modi said that I am an Ahmedabadi…he is abusing, isn’t he going with something?
Why were childhood friends called to CM House?
