Stock Market: Today once again a devastating decline was seen in the Indian stock market. With this, another bad day was added to the bad days for investors that started in late September last year. On Friday, except major IT stocks and some other stocks, there was a decline in the shares of most of the companies. In today’s latest fall, shares of a total of 264 companies, including big and giant companies like Tata Steel, Coal India, Yes Bank, Hero MotoCorp, reached their respective 52 week low.

Investors lost Rs 12 lakh crore in 3 days

After today’s fall, the market cap of companies listed on BSE fell from Rs 435.5 lakh crore to Rs 430 lakh crore. This simply means that the total wealth of stock market investors has reduced by about Rs 5.5 lakh crore today. Let us tell you that today the market has declined for the third consecutive day and in these 3 days investors have suffered a loss of Rs 12 lakh crore. Apart from Tata Steel, Coal India, Yes Bank, Hero MotoCorp, shares of big companies like IR, Concor, NMDC, SAIL, Tata Elxsi, Union Bank also reached their 52 week low.

IndusInd Bank shares fell by 4.41 percent

Among the BSE Sensex companies, shares of IndusInd Bank recorded the biggest decline of 4.41 percent today. Along with this, shares of NTPC 3.78 percent, UltraTech Cement 3.57 percent, SBI 2.26 percent, Sun Pharma 2.25 percent, Axis Bank 1.95 percent, Tata Steel 1.89 percent, PowerGrid 1.80 percent, Adani Ports 1.67 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 1.65 percent, Titan 1.40 percent. Percent, Asian Paints Shares of ITC closed down by 1.31 percent, ITC by 1.18 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra by 1.13 percent, ICICI Bank by 1.10 percent, Reliance Industries by 1.01 percent.

Nifty IT index jumped 3.44 percent

Let us tell you that today BSE Sensex closed at 77,378.91 points with a fall of 241.30 points. NSE’s Nifty 50 index also fell by 95.00 points and closed at 23,431.50 points. Apart from these, the highest decline of 2.40 percent was recorded in BSE Small Cap Index today. BSE Mid Cap Index also closed with a decline of 2.13 percent today. However, due to the excellent results of the third quarter, the Nifty IT index closed today with a strong rise of 3.44 percent.
