Chennai, January 10 (IANS). Union Minister of Railways and Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnav on Friday said she is very happy to be a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s bigger vision of making India a hub of electronics manufacturing.
Inaugurating the laptop assembly line of Sirma SGS Technology Limited and MSI, the Minister said that he was very happy with the plant, especially seeing young women working on the assembly line.
The minister told media persons here, “The satisfaction they get from working on these hi-tech machines, the training they have received and the focus with which they work is inspiring. Many of them are from nearby villages and Glad to see his talent.”
Sirma SGS, a leading electronics system design and manufacturing company, has tied up with MSI, a global leader in AI PC and gaming sector, as its manufacturing partner in India to manufacture laptops for the domestic market.
Through this strategic collaboration, Sirma SGS will assemble laptops for MSI at its state-of-the-art facility in Chennai.
