Uttar Pradesh News Desk Purvanchal- Civil department officers of DISCOM ignored the seniority list in allotment of government houses. Houses have been allotted to faces ignoring the rules. Complaint about three such cases has been made to Shambhu Kumar, MD of Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam.
It is mentioned in the complaint letter sent to the MD that Executive Assistant Santosh Kumar Singh was posted in 1994. He had applied to the Executive Engineer for allotment of house on 30 December 2023. The Executive Assistant is currently living in House No. 201 Type D, which is quite dilapidated. Due to which there is a possibility of untoward incident. Despite this, neither their application for dilapidated housing was considered.
It has been alleged in the complaint letter that in violation of the rules, the house number-93 (Type-2) allotted for the Executive Assistant cadre was allotted to Junior Engineer Navneet Kumar. Not only this, 2019 batch executive assistant Shweta Kumari and camp assistant Sumit Verma were also allotted house number 67 (Type-2) and house number-64 (Type-2) respectively by Executive Engineer Anirudh Chaurasia, ignoring the rules. . Shweta Kumari is posted in the IT cell of the Managing Director’s office.
