Ingredients for making potato-tomato curry
Potato – 4-5
Tomato – 3-4
Green chillies – 3-4
cumin 1/2 tsp
Mustard – 1/4 tsp
Ginger chopped – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Green Coriander – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 spoons
Salt – as per taste
How to make potato-tomato curry
To make delicious potato-tomato curry, first cut the potatoes and tomatoes into one-inch pieces and keep them separately in a bowl. After this, finely chop green chilli, ginger and coriander leaves. – Now put oil in the cooker and heat it on medium flame. When the oil is hot, add mustard and cumin seeds and fry. – After a few seconds, when the masala starts crackling, add turmeric and coriander powder to it.
– After mixing them with a spoon, add a pinch of asafoetida and add chopped potatoes and fry. – After some time, add tomatoes in the cooker and cook until soft. – After this add water as per requirement and salt as per taste and cover the cooker and cook till 3-4 whistles. After this, turn off the gas and let the cooker cool down. When the cooker cools down, open the lid and add some garam masala and green coriander and mix. Delicious potato-tomato curry is ready to serve.
