Lucknow. The world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering ‘Maha Kumbh 2025’ started on Monday at Tirtharaj Prayagraj. On this holy occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed all the devotees, saints, mahatmas, Kalpavasis and visitors and extended best wishes for the first bath of Mahakumbh.
The Chief Minister said that Mahakumbh is a symbol of the spiritual and cultural dignity of India. This event enlivens the spirit of ‘unity in diversity’. May the wishes of all the devotees who come to take bath and meditate in the holy stream of Mother Ganga be fulfilled.
He further said that this festival is not only the center of religious faith, but also a symbol of global pride of Sanatan culture and traditions. The Chief Minister said that all arrangements have been ensured to make the Mahakumbh divine and grand. Special attention has been given to cleanliness, safety, health services, traffic and residential management.
A flood of devotion gathered on the banks of Sangam
Today, on the occasion of Paush Purnima, lakhs of devotees are taking bath in the holy confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. A unique sight of spiritual joy and religious faith is being seen on the banks of Sangam. Mahakumbh is becoming a unique experience of life for the devotees coming from India and abroad.
