Prayagraj, Amrit Vichar: Mahakumbh is a wonderful confluence of Indian culture, traditions and artistic expressions. Famous singer and musician Shankar Mahadevan made Ganga Pandal devotional with his songs in the special program of Culture Department “Sanskriti Ka Sangam” at Ganga Pandal on Thursday. The program was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya by lighting the lamp.
Famous musician Shankar Mahadevan has described it as his good fortune to be a part of a holy event like Mahakumbh. In the inauguration ceremony, he drenched the devotees with devotion by presenting the song “Chalo Kumbh Chale”. After this he made the entire pandal resonate by singing Ganesh Vandana. Grand cultural evenings will be organized every day in Ganga Pandal till 24th February. In this, eminent singers, musicians and dance artists from across the country will enthrall the devotees with their performances. Many famous artists including Kailash Kher, Kavita Seth, Nitin Mukesh, Suresh Wadekar, Hariharan, Kavita Krishnamurthy will perform in this supernatural event of Mahakumbh.
The amazing night scene of Maha Kumbh shines with the light of faith, where lakhs of devotees experience self-purification by taking a bath in the Sangam. This event not only reflects the grandeur of Indian culture but also gives the message of unity and harmony. Mahakumbh is a grand platform of Indian art, culture and spirituality, where folk music, classical dance and theater arts will give the devotees a wonderful feeling of devotion and faith. On this occasion, Mayor Ganesh Shankar Kesarwani, MLA Pooja Pal and public representatives and officials were present.
