India has set many new milestones in the last few years, but the number of poor in the country is still very high. Similarly, many schemes are run by the Central and State Government for the poor, which provide them financial assistance. The Uttar Pradesh government is also running a similar scheme for poor children, which works to connect them with education and for this the government helps them.
Children get help every month
Uttar Pradesh government is running Shramik Vidya Yojana to help poor children, under which such children are given financial assistance every month. Under this scheme, poor boys are given Rs 1000 per month and poor girls are given Rs 1200 per month. The scheme aims to specifically target children who are orphans or are so economically weak that they cannot go to school.
