Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Police has arrested five people for sacrificing sheep in a cinema hall before the show of a movie. Actually, this incident is being told before the show of the film ‘Daku Maharaj’ on January 12. It is being told that a sheep was sacrificed in a cinema hall before the show, in which case five people have now been arrested. An officer gave information about the arrest on Saturday.
PETA complained on mail
The official said that a complaint in this matter was sent through email by ‘People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ (PETA). Acting on the basis of the complaint received, the police have arrested Shankaraiah, Ramesh, Suresh Reddy, Prasad and Mukesh Babu. All these accused are accused of sacrificing sheep and its blood, actor N. who played the lead role in the film. Arrested for putting it on Balakrishna’s poster. Let us tell you that popular Tollywood actor and Hindupur MLA N. Balakrishna is a relative of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Sacrifice was given on 12th January
Tirupati East sub-divisional police officer Venkat Narayan said, “An email had come from PETA. He had complained to the SP through email. “The same day (January 16) we investigated and registered a case at Tirupati East police station.” Narayan said that the police are also searching for other people who are suspected to be involved in this animal sacrifice. According to the police, the sheep was sacrificed at around 3 am on January 12. He told that the accused got bail immediately.
