We had given Most Favored Nation status to Pakistan
Jaishankar said that we used to give Most Favored Nation status to Pakistan. ‘From the beginning, we were interested that India should also get Most Favored Nation status, but they did not give us this status. When India abrogated Article 370 of the Constitution that gave special provisions to Jammu and Kashmir, in retaliation in August 2019, the then Imran Khan-led Pakistan government suspended all bilateral trade.
