Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Shatrughan Sinha will campaign for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in view of the February 5 assembly elections in Delhi. TMC sources gave this information on Tuesday.
TMC sources said that TMC MP Sinha from Asansol will campaign for you in at least three constituencies on February 1 and 2. These include former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s New Delhi constituency, Chief Minister Atishi’s Kalkaji constituency and Manish Sisodia’s Jungpura constituency.
TMC believes that actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha can attract Purvanchali voters of Delhi to the Aam Aadmi Party. ‘Purvanchali’ refers to migrants from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The city has a large number of Purvanchalis.
Sources said that some other TMC leaders may join the election campaign in Delhi. TMC has announced its support to the Aam Aadmi Party for the Delhi assembly elections.
