The Maharashtra government on Tuesday appealed to the people not to panic at all in case of symptoms of Gulian-Baire syndrome (GBS), immediately consult a doctor, so that treatment can be done in time. If you see such symptoms, do not take any kind of treatment in treatment.
At the same time, it has also been advisable to follow the preventive measures by the government on seeing the symptoms of this disease.
According to the information, GBS patients have been seen at many places on Tuesday. Of these, 7 patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation, one patient from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and one from another district. A total of 110 suspected GBS patients have been found so far, out of which 8 have died. In view of this, many types of concerns are emerging among the people, but the government is constantly appealing to the people that they do not need to panic at all. If you see any type of symptoms, seek the advice of a doctor immediately.
So far, 88 patients in the number of reinforced GBS cases in the state are from Pune Municipal Corporation, 15 patients from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and 7 patients from other districts. These patients include 73 men and 37 women. Currently 13 patients are on ventilator.
Talking about the general symptoms of GBS, this includes sudden weakness or paralysis in the hands or legs, having trouble walking or sudden weakness, and constant diarrhea.
At the same time, apart from the government, the Health Department has also appealed to the people that if they see any type of symptoms regarding this disease, then immediately consult a doctor.
