Mumbai, 29 January (IANS). Raza Academy Secretary Mohammad Saeed Noori gave his opinion on several important issues while talking to IANS on Wednesday. He commented on the statements made by Minister Nitesh Rane on the Burka dispute. Apart from this, Noori also spoke on other communal and social subjects.
Nitesh Rane’s statement that if women want to wear a burqa, then they should be limited to the house. Mohammad Saeed Noori said that Nitesh Rane should avoid such statements, which only distribute to people. Such statements are made only to stay in the headlines.
He said that if a girl goes to school wearing a burqa, then what is the problem? Such statements are just to confuse people and attract attention. Everyone should follow their uniforms and when the girls go to school or college, they go into the uniform. These are the rules of schools, which everyone should accept.
On the question of implementing Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttarakhand, Saeed Noori said that the main objective of this law is only to hurt Muslims. We will oppose it and continue opposing any efforts involved in it. If the UCC is implemented in Maharashtra too, we will oppose it.
Expressing concern over the Waqf Bill Amendment Bill, he said that Muslims are always hurt by such steps. The land of Waqf is the property of Muslims and the government has no right to intervene in it. This land is given for good works, it is not understood by the government. Giving clarification on the matter of Mahakumbh and Waqf land, he said that all this is a wrong publicity. No person can take any land illegally. All these baseless things are being spread.
On the dress code of Siddhivinayak temple, he said that these rules are applied only within the temple. Islam also has special guidelines for their followers. Every religion and temple have the right to make their rules and people follow those rules.
Expressing concern over the stampede incident in Mahakumbh, he said that the administration should take strict steps to avoid such accidents, so that such accidents do not happen in future.
