According to media reports, the Mumbai Police on Wednesday conducted the identification parade of accused Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad. Mohammad Shariful Islam, accused of the attack on Saif Ali Khan, had reached the actor’s house in Arthur Road Jail for the identification parade and the staff nurses. In front of him, the Mumbai Police got the identification parade by standing in front of Saif Ali Khan and some people similar to his face. By the court order, the Mumbai Police has identified the identity of the accused of the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Tehsildars were also present during this period.
The Mumbai Police earlier gathered all the evidence against Shariful Islam, accused of attack on Saif Ali Khan. Apart from this, Shariful’s face was also matched with the face captured in CCTV. Even a piece of knife was broken near his spine. The Mumbai Police has recovered the second part of the knife after information received from the accused.
