Guwahati, 8 February (IANS). Tata Motors on Saturday launched the registered vehicle scraping facility (RVFF). Its annual capacity is to safely destroy 15,000 vehicles eliminated. It will use durable and environmental conscious processes to destroy the car.
This feature will be operated by Tata Motors’ partner Endom Platinum Scrapers and is capable of scrapping passenger and commercial vehicles of all brands.
This is the seventh scrap facility of Tata Motors, which started in Guwahati. Earlier, the company has also started scrap facility in Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Chandigarh, Delhi-NCR and Pune.
State Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Jogen Mohan said, “The launch of this advanced vehicle recycling facility will create employment opportunities. Also, the economic growth of our state and communities will be promoted.”
Apart from this, safe disposal of vehicles finished with new scraping facility will also be ensured. Carbon emissions will decrease and contribute to a clean environment.
He added, “I thank Tata Motors for opening this smart facility in Assam.”
Tata Motors has taken an important step in advancing the vehicle scraping responsible in the region.

Each facility is completely digital and its operation is uninterrupted and paperless.
