Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday advised the government to make vehicles toll free to overcome the jam crisis during the Mahakumbh and to overcome the journey barrier.
The SP chief said in a post on ‘X’, “On the occasion of Mahakumbh, vehicles should be toll -free in Uttar Pradesh, this will reduce the journey and also the jam crisis.”
He wrote, “When films can be entertained tax free, then why not tax free trains on Mahakumbh’s Mahaparva?”
Due to the huge crowd of devotees in Mahakumbh, there is a long jam on the roads leading to Prayagraj.
