Many demands were raised in Lok Sabha today
Many important issues were discussed in the Lok Sabha on Monday. Among them, demands were raised like inclusion of Bhojpuri language in the 8th schedule of the Constitution, ban on pornographic material on social media and OTT forums, selling tea in kulhar in trains.
Different demands from MPs
During the Zero Hour in the House, Samajwadi Party (SP) member Ramashankar Rajbhar from Salempur in Uttar Pradesh said that Bhojpuri language is spoken in eight countries of the world and it is a language spoken in the house of Purvanchal. He demanded from the government that this language should be included in the eighth schedule of the Constitution. BJP MP from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, Anil Ferozia demanded that tea be sold in railway stations and trains. He said that this would benefit those who make earthen utensils. Shiv Sena’s King Mhaske sought the government to impose sensors on social media and ‘OTT’ forums on social media ‘Influencer’ Ranveer Allahabadia’s objectionable comments. BJP MP from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand Manish Jaiswal requested the Central Government to intervene in some parts of the state, accusing Saraswati worship and stopping the procession of Ram Navami. He said, “The central government should take action on the atrocities on Hindus in Jharkhand.” Congress MP from Sasaram, Manoj Kumar, recently referred to the incident of assault with him, claimed his life to be threatened by some criminal elements and demanded security. Gurjit Singh Aujla of Congress referred to the accidents from Chinese Manjha in the country and demanded its import, its production and its sale in the country. SP’s Anand Bhadoria claimed that the administration in his area tries to hurdle in organizing Buddha Katha. He said that permission should not be required for organizing Buddha Katha like Bhagwat Katha. Chandrashekhar of Azad Samaj Party also demanded from the government that people who believe in Sant Kabir, Guru Ravidas and Gautam Buddha should get permission to organize religious works related to them. Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Vaikar demanded a central university to be opened for Marathi study in Mumbai.
