Shyama Charan Shukla (English: Shyama Charan Shukla, born 27 February, 1925, Raipur, Azadi East; death- 14 February 2007) was the Indian National Congress and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Shyama Charan Shukla was the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh thrice, but all three times he could not complete the five -year term. He was the Chief Minister three times from 26 March 1969 to 28 January 1972, then from 23 December 1975 to 29 April 1977 and then from 9 December 1989 to 4 March 1990.

He had the distinction of playing an important role in the politics of then Madhya Pradesh from the very beginning. Shyama Charan Shukla held important positions always till the All India Congress Party of Raipur District Congress. Shyama Charan Shukla, editor of the daily Mahakaushal, entered the state assembly in 1962 and was constantly elected. He got the distinction of being the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1969-1972, 1975-1977 and 1989-1990. In 1990, he was the Leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly and then active in the politics of Chhattisgarh.
