Today is a very special day in terms of space science. 19 February 1473 was the day when the great mathematician and astronomer ‘Nicholas Kopranikus’ (‘Nicholas Copernicus’ was born. Nicholas Copernicus was the first person to tell this universal truth that the Earth revolves around the Sun. He did not write it because he was afraid that the church would be against him. Fear because by that time people believed that ‘Earth is stable and the Sun revolves around it.’ Later, Galileo Galiley was born on 15 February 1564, 21 years after Copernicus’s death. He wrote a book called ‘Dialogue’. In this book, Galileo wrote and claimed that the Earth revolves around the Sun. In the second part of history, we will talk about technical reforms.
