Amrit Vichar, Lucknow: The Yogi government will increase 1200 additional rural buses for the successful operation of the last phase of Mahakumbh-2025 fair. Area -wise allocation of these buses has been done. State Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh said that 1200 buses have been kept in the reserve for Mahashivratri bath and 20 to 28 February 2025, so that there is no inconvenience to the devotees.
He informed that apart from this, 750 shuttle buses are also running in Sangam area. He has directed that the duty of the officers/Deputy officials should be determined and their presence should be ensured so that the buses can be operated smoothly. The Transport Minister has directed that the departure of 25 buses should be ensured daily for Prayagraj, in view of the low number of passengers from 06 areas of western Uttar Pradesh such as Saharanpur, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bareilly, Moradabad, Aligarh, so that the departure of 25 buses should Buses can be ensured to additional crowds coming from districts. Apart from this, buses operated from Prayagraj, Varanasi, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya and Devipatan areas should be operated on the other side of the fair at a maximum of 300 km so that they can be sent to the fair area soon.
