Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday targeted the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He said that his government has taken many important decisions within a day of assuming power. He said, “Congress ruled 15 years and AAP has ruled for 13 years. Instead of looking at what they did, how can they raise questions on our one day?”
Highlighting the immediate action of our newly formed government, he said, “We held a cabinet meeting on the first day after taking the oath and we approved the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which you had stopped. We have stopped the people of Delhi on the first day. Gave the benefit of lakh rupees. They have no right to question us. “
He emphasized the BJP’s commitment to the welfare of Delhi under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “We will now worry about Delhi and under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Delhi will get its rights.”
Targeting the AAP and the Congress, he further said, “They should focus on their party; there are many people who want to leave the party. They are worried that when the CAG report is presented in the House, the records of many people were exposed Will be done. “
He further said that the opposition has no right to question the BJP and now under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Delhi will get its rights.
Earlier, BJP leader Rekha Gupta, who was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi on Thursday, chaired the first meeting of his cabinet a few hours later and announced two major decisions – Ayushman with a top -up of Rs 5 lakh Implementing the Bharat Scheme and presenting 14 pending CAG reports in the first meeting of the assembly.
Addressing a press conference, Rekha Gupta also announced the departments of her Council of Ministers. He said that the Delhi government will implement the main scheme of the Center in the national capital. This was the pre -election promise of the BJP, which targeted the AAP government for not implementing the plan.
He also announced to present the CAG report in the House, which the AAP government did not present in the House.
After joining the evening aarti on the Yamuna coast, Rekha Gupta said that the resolve to make Yamuna clean will be the priority of the Delhi government.
Pollution in Yamuna was an important issue during the Delhi assembly elections, in which political parties targeted each other over pollution, encroachment and flood management. The BJP attacked AAP and accused him of not fulfilling the promises of cleaning the Yamuna.
