US President Donald Trump
US President Donald Trump has once again raised the issue of electoral aid. Addressing the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, he said that India and Bangladesh do not need to help electoral help. Trump had earlier made a statement on the subject while addressing an event in Miami on Thursday. He questioned whether USAID had expenses 2.1 million US dollars to win elections in India.
The US International Development Agency (USAID) had provided financial assistance of US $ 2.1 million to increase the voting percentage in India. Expressing doubt on this, Trump alleged that this money was given for change of power.
Bangladesh chose radical leftist
Apart from India, USAID also sent financial assistance to Bangladesh. There is also political instability in Bangladesh. Minorities are being exploited here. In such a situation, Trump said “$ 29 million goes to strengthen the political scenario and help them so that they can vote for the radical leftist communist in Bangladesh. You have to see who they supported.”
India does not need money?
Donald Trump said in Washington about India, “$ 18 million to help in India in India? Why don’t we go back to the old paper ballot and help them help in our elections? They do not need money.” Donald Trump has taken several important decisions after assuming the post of US President in January. These include imposing tariffs on goods imported from many countries. The most tariffs have been imposed on Canada, Mexico and China. To avoid tariff war, India has also reduced tariffs on alcohol and other things coming from America. (Input-ANI/PTI)
