Adani Group
Companies of Adani Group have paid a tax of Rs 58,104 crore in FY 2023-24. The group gave this information on Sunday. Adani Group paid a tax of Rs 46,610 crore in FY 2022-23. The Adani Group said that the taxes paid include global tax, tariff, other fees, indirect tax borne by the companies of Adani Portfolio, etc. The group led by billionaire Gautam Adani has released its tax transparency report for FY 2023-24 (April 2023 to March 2024).
These companies contribute
The group said in a statement, “The total global tax of Adani Group for FY 2023-24 and other contribution to the treasury was Rs 58,104.4 crore, which through its portfolio of listed companies through its portfolio of 46,610.2 crore of the last financial year 2022-23 from the last financial year 202-23. It shows a significant increase compared to the rupee. ” It has been described in free reports published by 7 listed companies of the group- Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Adani Green Energy, Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Power, Adani Total Gas and Ambuja Cements. The figure also includes tax paid by three other listed companies – NDTV, ACC and Sanghi Industries, which are with seven companies.
They give significant contribution to India’s treasury
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said, “We consider ourselves one of the biggest contributors in the treasury of India that our responsibility is more than compliance. It is also about working with honesty and accountability. Our country’s finance shows our commitment to transparency and good governance. ” He said, “By voluntarily sharing these reports, our aim is to increase the trust of the stakeholders and set new standards for responsible corporate conduct.”
