Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party President K.K. Annamalai reached Prayagraj. He has revealed his opinion on the ongoing debate between the Center and Tamil Nadu on the National Education Policy (NEP). On the dispute over the 3-language policy under the National Education Policy (NEP) in Tamil Nadu, Annamalai said, ‘Some political parties still want to divide our country on the basis of language. Mother tongue is important for all. Mahakavi Bharti called Tamil the greatest language after knowing more than 10 languages. Therefore, people should study more and more languages.
Students can also study Dravid language
Along with this, Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai said, ‘NEP insists on studying an Indian language. This can be any language. Students in Tamil Nadu can also study any other Dravidian language. Political parties are unnecessarily creating controversy.
Controversy over Hindi imposition of Hindi
Let us know that the ruling party Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Tamil Nadu has refused to implement the NEP and three language policy, including the imperative of Hindi. The DMK has refused the central government to ‘impose’ Hindi. The DMK alleged that the central government is stopping the funds of the state to implement the policy.
