Political News Desk !! Gopal Swaroop Pathak (English: Gopal Swarup Pathak, born 26 February, 1896; death- 31 August 1982) was the former Vice President of India. He was the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha from 31 August 1969 to 30 August 1974.
Gopal Swaroop Pathak was born on 26 February 1896 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. His father’s name was Pandit Krishna Swaroop Pathak. Under his education, Gopal Swaroop Pathak made MA And LLB. The degrees were obtained from the University of Allahabad. His wife’s name was Prakashwati.

Gopal Swaroop Pathak was a judge of the Allahabad High Court in 1945-1946. He was a member of the Rajya Sabha from 3 April, 1960 to 2 April, 1966 and then 3 April, 1966 to May 13, 1967. He was the Union Law Minister in 1966–1967. He was the Governor of Mysore State (present -day Karnataka) from 13 April, 1967 to 31 August 1969.
