Sambhal. The dispute has started once again over the issue of Sambhal’s royal Jama Masjid. The Muslim side wants to dye and paint the royal Jama Masjid of Sambhal. For this, approval was sought from the district administration of Sambhal. The district administration of Sambhal did not approve the dyeing of the royal Jama Masjid, saying that it is preserved by ASI. According to the district administration of Sambhal, only ASI can take a decision regarding the dyeing and painting of the royal Jama Masjid. Following this move of the administration, the Muslim side has filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court. At the same time, the Hindu side says that there is a conspiracy to incite a riot in Sambhal in the name of dyeing.
The Hinduist organization Sanatan Sevak Sangh has also demonstrated against the demand for dyeing in the royal Jama Masjid. Sanatan Sevak Sangh says that if the royal Jama Masjid of Sambhal is again dyed and painted, the dispute will increase further. The organization has asked whether ASI will take its responsibility again or not. The Hinduist organization alleges that the reason for starting work in the royal Jama Masjid is something else. Now everyone’s eyes are on the Allahabad High Court what the verdict gives about dyeing and painting in Sambhal’s royal Jama Masjid. Let us know that during the hearing on the issue of Sambhal’s royal Jama Masjid, the ASI had said in the Allahabad High Court that its archaeologists have not been allowed to enter for a long time. Whereas, this mosque is a protected monument from ASI itself.
The court commissioner of Sambhal’s royal Jama Masjid gave the survey order. Violence took place in November 2024 during the survey. 4 people were also killed in violence. In the case of violence in Sambhal, the police have so far arrested 50 accused and sent them to jail. Quoting one of the accused, the police have claimed that the rioters were also intended to kill the Hindu side lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain. After the violence in Sambhal, when the police investigated, cartridges made in Pakistan and America were also recovered from the drains. Police claim that a criminal sitting in Dubai supplied these cartridges to the rioters of Sambhal.
