Railways will run Holi special trains
New Delhi: Holi festival is near, in such a situation, all those people are preparing to travel towards their respective homes, who do jobs or business away from home. Indian Railways has taken a big step to give convenience to such passengers and announced to run special trains on the occasion of Holi.
South Central Railway (SCR) announced 14 Holi special trains
In view of the huge crowd of passengers in trains on festivals, South Central Railway (SCR) has announced 14 Holi special trains connecting major sites across India. Realizing the huge demand for train travel during Holi, SCR has arranged these special services to ensure that passengers can celebrate the celebrations with their loved ones without the problem of lack of tickets. Special trains will run on different dates in March 2025, which will cover the routes of Cherlapalli, Shalimar, Santragachhi, Jalna and Patna.
Travelers traveling on these routes will have to stop at major stations like Nalgonda, Mariyalaguda, Nadikude, Sattanapalla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajmundari, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Vijayanagaram, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Kharagpur. For passengers traveling between Jalna and Patna, trains will stop at Pastur, Selu, Manwat Road, Parbhani, Poorna, Akola, Shegaon, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Buxar, Ara and many other major stations. Each special train will have a mixture of 2 AC, 3 AC, sleeper class and general second class coaches, which will ensure options for passengers of all categories.
36 special trains will run on this route
Holi festival between Rajkot and Mahbubnagar and 36 special trains will be run for summer season.
Millions of passengers will get the benefit of these special trains run by the railway, so that they will be able to make their journey easier.
