A shocking incident has come to light from the famous tourist spot Hampi of Karnataka. Unidentified people raped 2 women including a foreign woman tourist here. Along with this, he beat up his 3 male colleagues and threw them into the water. The body has been recovered from a person’s canal. According to the police, the incident occurred between 11-11:30 pm on Thursday night. Unidentified miscreants raped a 27 -year -old woman Israeli tourist and a 29 -year -old female operator of a homestay on the banks of the popular Sanapur lake near Hampi. A male tourist from Odisha, who was with both of them at the time of crime, has found his body. Criminals pushed him into the Tungabhadra Canal, while two other male tourists from the US and Maharashtra were injured. The injured are undergoing treatment in a government hospital.
Case near Sanapur Lake
The special team of police is searching for the accused associated with the incident. Sanapur Lake is about 4 km from Hampi and is a major attraction among foreign tourists. In this regard, a case has been registered at Gangavati Rural Police Station under Section 309 (6) (theft or forced recovery), 311 (robbery or robbery), 64 (rape), 70 (1) (gang rape), 109 (attempt to murder). According to the FIR, when the incident took place when four tourists and the female operator of Homestay were enjoying the music near Sanapur Lake.
The accused asked the address of petrol pump
Meanwhile, three people riding the bike came to him and asked where they will get petrol from? The Homastay director told him that there is no petrol pump nearby, the three demanded cash from him. When the five refused to pay any money, these miscreants who spoke Kannada and Telugu started misbehaving and assaulting them, after which they pushed three male tourists into the canal. A woman victim, who filed a complaint, says that when the male tourists were struggling to come out of the canal, two of the three accused raped her and the Israeli female tourist. A male tourist has died, whose body was found near the canal. At the same time efforts are being made to nab the accused.

Koppal’s SP Ram L Arsadi said, “According to the information we got, 5 people have been attacked near Sanapur. There are two women and three men. There are 2 out of it. The FIR has been recorded on the complaint of the woman, taking immediate action, but the woman has been brought to the government.
