The server of Elon Musk’s microblogging platform X came to a standstill on Monday, causing a lot of problems to users around the world. On social media, users complained of problems in the service of the platform.
Trouble in login and posting
Users said that they are not able to login on X, nor are they able to share new posts nor react to any post. The platform has been down four times between 3 pm and 9 pm, and its service was stalled till the news was written.
Dowdatector gave information
According to a dowdatector report, 61% of users worldwide faced trouble on the website, while 38% of users had problems in using X through mobile apps. UK and USA users said that on refreshing or opening the platform, they showed the message of ‘Something Went Wrong’. In India too, more than 2,500 users lodged a complaint complaint in both the website and the app.
17,000 complaints every minute in USA
According to the Dowditector, more than 9,000 users lodged a complaint in the UK, while about 17,000 complaints were reported every minute in the USA.
Last year too was down several times x
In the year 2024, the service of X was interrupted many times, causing users to face a lot of problems. During that time a large number of people except X shifted to other social media platforms. However, other platforms like Facebook and Instagram also contain the problem of outage. But this is the first time in 2025 when there is such a big outage on X. The effect of this outage has been seen in India, while no update has been revealed in other countries so far.
