Citizens returned from Indian Air Force aircraft

On Tuesday, the government has brought back 266 Indian citizens trapped in the greed to work abroad, who were released from Cyber Crime Centers in Southeast Asia. Similarly, 283 Indians were brought back on Monday. Indian embassies along with Myanmar and Thailand governments helped ensure their release and return their home.

The Ministry of External Affairs said that the government has made constant efforts to release those Indians who were cheated by fake jobs in the Dakshit East Asian countries including Myanmar. These citizens were involved in cyber crime and other fraud activities, which were running in Naxal-affected areas of the Myanmar-Thailand border.

Ministry of External Affairs Advice

The Ministry of External Affairs has advised Indian citizens to confirm the credibility of foreign employers through missions abroad and check the previous records of recruitment agents and companies before applying the job offer. Earlier in December too, the Indian Embassy announced the release of six Indian citizens trapped in the complex of the job scam in Mywadi, Myanmar.

Center of cyber crime

The Golden Triangle region of South-East Asia is the center of cyber crime, where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar have international boundaries. From here, fake call centers for cyber fraud operate. The victims include people from different states of the country. The Myanmar government deployed its army to rescue the hostages and shift them to Thailand, from where he was now brought back to India.
