Denver: A ‘American Airlines’ aircraft caught fire at the US Denver International Airport on Thursday. There was a stir among the passengers after the fire. The ‘Federal Aviation Administration’ (FAA) said in a statement that flight 1006, going from Colorado Springs Airport to Dallas Fort Worth, was diverted towards Denver. It was safely launched at 5.15 pm after the crew reported the engine malfunction by the crew.

The FAA reported that the engine of Boeing 737-800 caught fire. At the same time, the airport spokesman told the media that when the fire broke out on Thursday afternoon, the aircraft was on the gate ‘C38’. In the pictures going viral on social media, smoke was seen coming out around the aircraft. Officials of the airline said 172 passengers and six members of the crew were taken to the terminal. He said that no casualties were reported in this incident. The airport spokesman told the media that firefighters extinguished the fire by evening. The FAA said that he would investigate the incident.

A few days before this, an aircraft crashed outside an airport in the suburban area of Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon. Five people were riding in this aircraft. According to local police officials, the small aircraft crashed at around three in the afternoon of Lancaster Airport in Manhem city. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed that five people were riding at the time of the beachcraft Bonanja aircraft.
