Latur, 15 March (IANS). In Maharashtra, a case of illegal Bangladeshi citizens remaining fake certificates has come to light. The birth certificate scam of Bangladeshis has surfaced in Latur, Maharashtra. A case has been registered against nine people.
Regarding the Bangladesh birth certificate scam in Latur, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya said in a video statement, “It is alleged that all of them obtained birth certificate in India using fake Aadhaar cards, fake documents and false affidavits. FIR has been lodged in Latur to get birth certificate using fake documents against all the nine accused.
A case has been registered under sections 318 (4), 338, 336 (3), 340 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) in Latur, including serious allegations such as fraud, forgery and forgery. All the accused are citizens of Bangladesh and were illegally living in Maharashtra. These people had also applied to get their birth certificate on the basis of fake documents.
Among the accused against whom a case has been registered, S.K. Yusuf Pathan, Anerunisa Mohammad, Fimuni Job Maniyar, Shahida Shaukat Qureshi, Farheen Tausif, Hussain Gafoor Sheikh, Nazera Abdul Kuddus, Rukhsar Mosin Qureshi and Mustafa Mehboob.
Let us know that even before this, Kirit Somaiya has been raising his voice against Bangladeshi citizens living illegally in Maharashtra. He also released a figure of people living illegally by posting on X on 22 January. The BJP leader had claimed that there has been a scam to give fake birth certificate to 15,845 Bangladeshi, Rohingya in Akola district of Maharashtra. He also demanded an inquiry into it.
