Nomination began for Padma Award 2026.
The online process of enrollment for the Padma Award 2026 has started. Padma Awards will be announced on the occasion of Republic Day next year. How to enroll?
First on the home page of the National Award Portal, under the title ‘Nomination for the ongoing awards’, click on the Padma Award 2026. After this, click on ‘Nomine/Apply Now’ button. If the person wants to nominate himself, choose the option ‘Do you want to nominate yourself’. If the person wants to nominate someone else, then choose the option ‘Do you want to nominate someone else’. Enter the details of the person you are nominating. If the birth date of the nominee is not available, then choose the option ‘date of birth is not available’ and then tell ‘age’. If the nominee is not alive, ‘if the nominee is posthumously (not alive), click here, choose’ Choose the option and choose ‘Year of Death’. After this, enter further information. Click ‘Save and Next’ to carry forward the enrollment process. Enter the details of the person you are nominating. If the person has not received the first Padma Award, please choose the option ‘No’. If the person has received the Padma Award first, please select the ‘Yes’ option and enter the details. If the person has received any other award earlier, choose ‘Yes’ and enter the details. Attach photographs and other assistant documents of the person you are nominating. If you want to preview the application form, click on ‘preview’, and if you want to edit the form, click ‘Edit the application’. Click on the Declaration Box and then click on the ‘Final Submit’ button.
How to register a particular person?
First of all you have to go to the offering website. After this, click on the registration or login button on the homepage. After this click on the ‘individuals’ button and choose the type of nominee (such as citizens, Chief Minister, Governor, NRI, foreign, etc.). After this, fill your first name, last name, Aadhaar number and other details sought. Choose a method of identification, including Aadhaar Verification, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License etc. Then give your Aadhaar number, passport, pancard number and other details. After this, complete the process of verification and submit the OTP found on mobile. Now set a new password and enter the captcha. Click on the Sev button again.
