New Delhi, March 18 (IANS). A sit-in demonstration was held against the Waqf Amendment Bill on Monday at Jantar Mantar. The performance was led by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. A large number of people from Muslim community arrived in this demonstration. During this, Maulana Mahmood Madni, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, has increased politics by giving a statement. Actually, he has said that every fight requires sacrifice. I am ready to sacrifice.
BJP MP Brijlal has reacted strongly to this statement of Mahmud Madani. During a conversation with news agency IANS on Monday, he said that I do not agree with his statement. However, this is a provocative statement of Maulana Mahmud Madani. This Waqf Board was occupied, belonged to people like them. Nobody even asked the poor Muslim. The Muslims of the upper section were occupying the Waqf. The ground of poor Muslims was taken away. I want to tell Maulana Mahmood Madni that threatening does not work with. Politics of appeasement will not work. I want to clearly say to the Muslims of the country that the Waqf Amendment Bill is for their good. No mosque will be taken away with the arrival of this bill.
Nobody’s cemetery will be taken away. On the statement of Maulana Mahmud Madani, the BJP MP said that the action of bulldozers does not take place like this. When the government land is occupied, the notice is served. Even after the notice, when the government land is not vacated, the action of bulldozers takes place. Yes, with the arrival of the Waqf Amendment Bill, now these people will not be able to declare the land of Waqf by putting notice on someone’s land as per their choice.
