Honda Cars Price Hike in April 2025: Indian Autobazar giant Japanese automobile company Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has announced that its vehicles will become expensive from April 2025. The company says that this decision has been taken due to increase in production costs and various economic factors. Honda Cars India has increased the prices of its vehicles several times in recent years. With this, the company announced in June 2023 that it would increase the prices of Amaze and City Models by 1% from 1 June 2023. This decision was taken due to increasing production cost pressure. In January 2025, the company announced an increase in the prices of its vehicles up to 4%, which came into effect from 1 January 2025. The reason for this growth was stated to be increasing raw materials and operating costs.

The main reasons behind these price increase are increase in production costs, increasing prices of raw materials and disruption in supply chain. Let’s know about the details related to the price increase being taken by the company –

Why are the prices rising?

Honda Cars India has blamed the rising input cost and inflation pressure behind the price hike. Company Vice President (Marketing and Sales) Kunal Bahl said:

“We are forced to amend the prices due to continuous rising raw material prices, logistics expenses and other economic reasons. However, the customers will be tried to put a minimum burden on the customers.”

How much will the price increase?

The company has not yet disclosed the accurate price hike, but according to reports, prices may increase by Rs 30,000 to 60,000. This increase will vary depending on the model and variants.

Which models will increase the price?

This price increase will have an impact on the following popular models of Honda:

1. Honda City-Estimated hike ₹ 40,000- ₹ 50,000

2. Honda Amaze-Estimated increase ₹ 30,000- ₹ 40,000

3. Honda Elevate-Estimated hike ₹ 50,000- ₹ 60,000

4. Honda WR-V and other models-Estimated increase ₹ 30,000- ₹ 50,000

What will be the effect on customers?

This price hike will directly affect the customers who are planning to buy a new train after April. Experts say that if a customer is thinking of buying a Honda car, booking can be beneficial by the end of March.

Status of other car companies

Honda is not the only company that is increasing the price of its vehicles. Earlier, companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Mahindra also announced to increase prices from April. If you are planning to buy a Honda car, then you can save money by shopping by March 2025. Prices increase is due to increase in production costs, which is also becoming a common trend for other companies.
