Mumbai, March 20 (IANS). Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday. The Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) gave this information. The CMO also released some pictures of the two meeting, in which they are seen talking to each other.
Earlier, Bill Gates met PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday. Sharing on the social media platform X, PM Modi wrote, “As usual, a great meeting with Bill Gates. We spoke on various issues including technology, innovation and stability towards making a better future for the coming generations.”
Former Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates said that he also discussed with PM Modi on the development of India, the development of India 2047 and the progress in health, agriculture, AI and other fields.
Bill Gates shared a picture of meeting PM Modi and wrote on X, “I held a very good discussion about the development of India with PM Modi, the route of India developed in 2047 and exciting progress in health, agriculture, AI and other fields, which are creating effects today. It is influential to see how innovation in India is giving pace to local and globally.”
During his visit, Bill Gates also met Union Health Minister JP Nadda and reviewed the ongoing cooperation between the Government of India and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in strengthening public health systems.
JP Nadda wrote on X, “Today met Bill Gates, the founder of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. We discussed the remarkable progress achieved by India in healthcare, especially maternal health, vaccination and cleanliness through our cooperation with the Foundation. Ready to pursue our shared commitment to ensure inexpensive, accessible and quality healthcare. “
The chairman of the Gates Foundation also discussed with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, which included issues like health, education, agriculture and employment, Artificial Intelligence (AI).
At the same time, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also met Bill Gates during the Raisina dialogue.
