According to the report, user can press for a long time of the screen to activate the 2x video playback speed on the platform. This feature is already available in India’s iOS and Android-based apps in India. Interestingly, Tiktok is giving 2x video playback speed on its platform from 2023. This is not the first time that Meta’s photo and video-sharing platform borrowed a feature from Tiktok. Earlier, the company has brought features such as 15 seconds long vertical videos on Instagram as reels. It has also introduced a feature called Remix, which is very similar to Tiktok’s duet feature. With the help of this feature named Duet or Remix, users can make their own videos along with an existing video. In addition, the company has also changed the search result in Instagram, so that photos and videos can be shown like Tiktok instead of showing only hashtags, user accounts and space.
