Madhavan cried after watching the film
R Madhavan told that he never wanted to become an actor. Madhavan’s parents lived in Jamshedpur and father Tata worked in the company. Madhavan told that his father wanted me to become an engineer or doctor and return to Tata Company. It was a period when the craze of films was not as much. There was less to watch movies in theaters. But after some time the video tape started coming and I saw the first Tamil film which was directed by Mani Ratnam. I was 17 years old at that time and started crying. However, all this passed and I started studying. After school, I got admission in Canada on scholarship. But in the form here I wrote that I want to become a rich and famous actor. From where I wrote this, I do not know myself. Although I never worked about it.
Kismet himself knocked on the door
Madhavan returned to Mumbai after his studies from Canada and hoping for a job. Here Madhavan became a teacher and started teaching children. Meanwhile, Madhavan started working in the field of Art. Then Madhavan received an offer of a role. But Madhavan asked how much money would be received. So the answer was said that the production of production is giving brakes. Madhavan says, ‘I got a similar offer and was asked to do a romantic role. But I asked him how much money would be received. So they replied that they are giving the break. So I said that do not break the money. After this, he decided to give 2000 rupees. This is where my journey of acting started.
