This historical action film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film is the adaptation of Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel ‘Chhava’. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Madock Films. The film was released in Hindi language on February 14, 2025 and was later dubbed in Telugu. According to industry tracker Caikanilk, the film has grossed over Rs 700 crore worldwide and has grossed more than Rs 500 crore across India. In the film, Vicky Kaushal played the role of Maratha Raja Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Maharaj and in the role he was sure that whoever saw the film became admired. In the film, Rashmika Mandana has played Maharani Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna played the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
