ISRO released pictures of earthquake in Myanmar, more than 2000 killed so far – India tv hindi

Earthquake havoc in Myanmar.

The 7.7 magnitude earthquake in India’s neighboring country Myanmar on Friday has brought havoc. Thousands of people have died and a large number of people are injured across the country. Various countries including India are helping Myanmar and also running rescue operations there. Amidst all this, the Indian Space Research Organization ie ISRO has released satellite photos of widespread damage caused by the earthquake in Myanmar.

ISRO took photos from Cartosat-3

ISRO has taken pictures of destruction in Myanmar with a height of 500 km from the earth using its best meaning imaging satellite cartosat-3. Explain that Cartosat-3 of ISRO can help take pictures at less than 50 cm resolution. According to the space agency, Cartosat-3 was launched in 2019. This is the advanced meaning of the third generation imaging satellite.

More than 2,000 people died

So far more than 2,000 people have died and 3,900 others have been injured due to a 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar. Hundreds of Muslims who were offering prayers in mosques died in an earthquake and 270 Buddhist monks also died due to the collapse of a monastery. Fifty children died after a pre-school class collapsed. According to the United Nations Humanitarian Assistance Agency, more than 10,000 buildings have collapsed or badly damaged in Central and Northwest Myanmar.

Infrastructure, roads and residential buildings collapsed

The earthquake also shook the NAPEDO and other areas of Myanmar, resulting in infrastructure, roads and residential buildings. Earthquake tremors were felt not only in Myanmar but also in neighboring countries and in the northern parts of Chiang Mai and Thailand, where damage was reported at some places. The historic Awa (Inva) bridge collapsed on the Iravadi River near the city.
