PM Narendra Modi Thailand Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Thailand on a two -day visit to attend the sixth BIMSTEC summit. PM Modi reached Bangkok, the capital of Thailand on Thursday where he was warmly welcomed by the people of the Indian community. Meanwhile, on Friday, PM Modi met Myanmar’s Senior General Majesty Min Aung Having in Bangkok.

PM Modi posted on the Social Media Forum X for this meeting and said, “Met the senior General of Myanmar’s Min Aung Having, on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok. He expressed condolences once again on the loss of life due to the recent earthquake. India is making every effort to help its brothers and sisters in this difficult time. Relationships, especially connectivity, capacity building, development of infrastructure and other areas were also discussed. “
The devastating earthquake came to Myanmar
Myanmar caused a disastrous earthquake on Friday last week causing damage to buildings, bridges and other infrastructure. More than 3000 people have also died due to earthquake. More than four thousand people have been injured. India has also sent relief material to Myanmar in this difficult time.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted an X after the devastating earthquake, saying, “Myanmar spoke to the senior General of Myanmar, Mina Aung Having. He expressed his deepest condolences on the deaths in the devastating earthquake. As a close friend and neighbor, India stands unitedly with the people of Myanmar in this difficult time.”
