New Delhi. India is going to buy 26 Rafael Marine fighter aircraft from France very soon. This defense deal of more than 63 thousand crore rupees will be signed soon. Under this deal, the Indian Navy will get 22 single-seater and 4 twin-seater aircraft. The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) has approved the deal. These Rafale aircraft will be deployed on aircraft carriers like Navy’s INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya. These will be posted at the place of old MiG-29 fighter aircraft. This deal in the defense sector will lead to an unprecedented increase in the capacity and strength of the Indian Navy and Air Force.

According to this deal with France, this Indian soldiers will be given complete training for these aircraft. However, the delivery deal of Rafael Marine fighter jets will start about 5 years after signing the deal. According to media reports, delivery of aircraft is expected to start by the end of 2029. At the same time, by 2031, there is a possibility of getting complete consignment of 26 aircraft. There was talks between India and France for the last several months about the purchase of Rafale Marine Jet. In September 2016, India signed 36 Rafale fighter jets from France for their Air Force. There was a deal between the two countries for 59 thousand crore rupees.
The Air Force operates these Rafale aircraft from its militarybase in Ambala and Hashimara. Rafael Marine fighter aircraft have been made equipped with various state -of -the -art technology according to sea needs. This fighter aircraft can go up to a speed of about two times at the speed of sound. It also has the facility of fuel in the air itself, so that it can remain in the air for a long time without landing. It is equipped with AESA radar which gives the enemy’s quick and accurate information.
