Rohida police of Sirohi arrested four accused in the robbery incident with two bike riders in Valoria 20 days ago. The accused escaped from the victims by snatching cash and mobile phones worth more than one lakh rupees.
As part of a special campaign to curb property crimes, the police team led by Rohida Thanadikari Maya Pandit took action and arrested Vikram Kumar son Ram Gameti, Joana resident Rahul son Ram Gameti Bhil, Valoria and Silwafli resident of Rohida police station area Jagdish Kumar alias Dara son Chunnilal Gameti Bhil and Shivlal alf Shiva son Bhomaram Gameti. In this action, Assistant Sub Inspector of Rohida police station, Chail Singh, Head Constable Rohitesh Kumar, Constable Ramlal, Bajranglal, Aman Kumar, Jitendra Kumar, Ramesh Kumar, Ghanshyam and Pushpendra Singh.
How did the crime happen?
According to the police, on 20 March 2025, a case was registered by Bhupendra Singh son Kalyan Singh, resident of Indira Colony Pindwara. He told that he and his friend Anil Kumar were passing through Silwafli near Valoria village riding on a bike at around 12:33 pm. He had a total of Rs 1,00,390 in installments from the loan center in a bag.
Meanwhile, a fluffy man, whose face was covered and who was wearing a black vest, came to him with a stone. He tried to attack. Then three more people came from behind and started snatching the bags. Despite trying to escape, the victims were caught, beaten and looted their cash and mobile phones. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the Rohida police started searching for unknown miscreants and raided several places keeping an eye on the suspects. All four accused have been arrested on the basis of strong evidence.
