Bhopal . As the heat of sunlight increases in Madhya Pradesh, the heat has started showing its effect. The state Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has instructed the health department to be fully prepared, amid the possibility of increasing the effect of hot winds.
The temperature in the state is rising rapidly. The maximum temperature crossed 41 degrees. The effect of heat becomes more with the day climbing. This condition is harmful to health. Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Rajendra Shukla has appealed to the citizens to be cautious and fully follow the instructions issued by the Health Department.
He said that the safety of all citizens, especially children, elderly, pregnant women and sick persons during the summer period is our priority. The government and administration are fully cautious and ready. All health institutions have been directed for necessary preparations.
He has appealed to follow all civil precautions. NHM Managing Director Dr. Saloni Sidana has instructed the health officers of all the districts of the state for necessary preparations and awareness for health protection in view of the heat. He has instructed to make the public aware and to make patients aware of HRI prevention measures in all health institutions.
Also, it has been asked to ensure reporting of HRI cases per day on the IHIP portal. So that diseases and ignorant events due to high temperature can be prevented. The health department has told the public that lack of water in the body is a common problem during the summer season, which can cause serious diseases. Citizens are requested to drink enough water throughout the day, even if there is no thirst. Keep water together while traveling.
Consumption of household drinks like ORS, lemonade, lassi, buttermilk, fruit juice (mixed with a little salt) is beneficial. Consuming seasonal fruits and vegetables like watermelon, melon, orange, grapes, pineapple, cucumber is helpful in maintaining liquidity in the body. The health department has asked the common people not to leave from 12 noon to 3 pm. At this time the heat is at its peak. Avoid heavy functioning or physical hard work. Do not go out barefoot.
