The Mumbai Traffic Police has received a threatening message about film actor Salman Khan and a case has been registered in this regard. Officials gave this information on Monday.
A police official said that in a message received on Sunday on the WhatsApp helpline of the traffic police, the sender has threatened to bomb the actor’s car and beat them by entering their house.
He said that an officer posted in the traffic police control room informed his superiors about this threatening message, on the basis of which the Worli police here registered a case against the unknown person under Section 351 (2) (3) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Justice Code.
The official said that the matter is being investigated.
The Traffic Police Helpline has received several messages related to targeting the 59 -year -old actor in recent times.
Khan was earlier threatened with death from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Bishnoi is lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Ahmedabad in several cases, including attempt to murder and forced recovery, while suspected members of his gang opened fire outside the actor’s house in Bandra in April last year.
A few weeks later, the Navi Mumbai Police claimed to have exposed the conspiracy to kill Khan by the Bishnoi gang. Police claimed that when Khan was traveling to his farmhouse in Panvel near Mumbai, the Bishnoi gang had conspired to assassinate him.
