Lucknow, 14 April (IANS). A fire broke out at night Lokbandhu Hospital on Monday in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The fire was on the other floor. By the time the patient could understand, she went on to grow. However, no casualties have been reported in the incident yet.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has reached the spot as soon as the incident was received. He said that 200 patients have been shifted to various hospitals. The remaining has been admitted to Civil and Balrampur. There have been no casualties in this incident. All have been rescued. Fire extinguishing the fire is brightening. Electricity has been cut due to fire.
The work of extinguishing the fire has been done through the generator. Officers are also on the spot. Two hundred patients have been shifted. There is no patient in the hospital. All the patients are talking to the families. DCP South Nipun Aggarwal said that police station Krishna Nagar received information that there was a fire in Lokbandhu Hospital. Fire brigade and civil police have arrived in sufficient quantity as soon as the information is received. The fire has been controlled.
People admitted to the hospital have been evacuated and sent to hospitals for treatment. The cause of the fire is being ascertained. Hospital staff reported the fire to CMS and other officials. The fire brigade was then called. There was a scream everywhere. Doctors, nurses, hospital workers and Timardars started running around to save their lives.
Dr. Ajay Shankar Tripathi, Medical Superintendent of Lokbandhu Hospital, says that the fire started at around 10 pm on Monday night. The reason for the fire in the investigation so far is being described as a short circuit. The situation is under control. There is no casualties yet.
Information Director Shishir Singh said that Chief Minister Yogi took cognizance of the fire in Lok Bandhu Hospital and complete information about the incident from the officials on the phone. Senior officials reached the spot.
