New Delhi. Controversy has started on the decision of Devendra Fadnavis government to make Hindi compulsory as the third language in the schools of Maharashtra. Raj Thackeray, president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, has been agitated on this and warned the state government that we will not allow this effort to succeed. He said that Hindi is not the national language, it is a state language like other languages, so why the imperative of Hindi? Raj Thackeray said, we are Hindus but not Hindi. If there is an attempt for Hindiization in Maharashtra, it will be mandatory to oppose it.
Referring to the states of South India, Raj Thackeray questioned the government that you should show Hindi there by implementing Hindi there. He said that the Shiv Sena and NCP involved in the Mahayuti government can accept it but Maharashtra Navnirman Sena will not tolerate it at all. Thackeray said that every state has a separate language and states have been divided on the basis of language. The language there should be respected in every state. Accusing the government, the MNS chief said that he wants to create a dispute between the people of Maharashtra and non -Hindi speakers, hence Hindi is being brought here.

The government has decided to implement three linguistic formulas of National Education Policy 2020.
