Peace in the stock market dominated the last day of the week, business will not be done, check the holiday list

Today India’s major stock market – National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) – will remain closed on the occasion of Good Friday. Due to this, there will be no business today. Equity derivatives, currency derivatives, Securities Lending and Browing (SLB), NDS-RST, TRAI-party repo and commodity derivatives will also be suspended today. There will also be no trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

Market will open at normal time on Monday

Now the stock markets will reopen on Monday, 21 April 2025 and will work according to regular time.

Pre Open Session: Regular trading from 9:00 am to 9:07 pm: 9:15 am to 3:30 pm: 3:30 pm to 3:40 pm

The stock markets in India open every week from Monday to Friday and remain closed on Saturday and Sunday.

According to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) calendar, the market will remain closed on several major festivals and national holidays in 2025.

Now when the stock market will be closed, know:

May 1 (Thursday)- Maharashtra Day 15 August (Friday)- Independence Day 27 August (Wednesday)- Ganesh Chaturthi 2 October (Thursday)- Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra 21 October (Tuesday)- Diwali (Lakshmi Pujan) 22 October (Wednesday)- Diwali Balipratipada 5 November (Wednesday)- 5 November (Wednesday)- Prakash Guruparva (Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti) 25 December (Thursday)- Christmas- Christmas- Christmas- Christmas- Christmas

Both NSE and BSE will remain closed on these holidays. In such a situation, investors and traders should already plan their transactions and portfolio plans.
