Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will address a public meeting in Buxar district of Bihar today i.e. on Sunday.
Rajesh Rathore, spokesperson of the Bihar unit of Congress, said that Kharge was also going to address a gathering in Patna after the rally in Buxar but has been canceled.
Rathore told ‘PTI-Bhasha’, “Kharge will address a public meeting at Buxar’s Dalsagar Stadium at around 12:30 pm on Sunday. He will return to Delhi after addressing a public meeting in Buxar as some of his programs are scheduled in the evening. ”
Before the assembly elections to be held later this year, Kharge’s Bihar tour is considered important for the party.
Assembly elections are going to be held in a few months in the state in which the ‘Grand Alliance’ with Rashtriya Janata Dal, Congress and Left parties will be held against the ruling National Democratic Alliance.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited Begusarai district on April 7 and attended the party’s march ‘Exodus Roco, Job Do’. He also addressed the ‘Constitution Security Conference’ in Patna.
