A Poxo court in Rajasthan sentenced a woman to 20 years imprisonment for sexually assaulting a minor boy. The 30 -year -old woman is accused of kidnapping a 17 -year -old minor and taking her with him. He then gave him alcohol and raped her. The court found the woman guilty. The court of Judge Salim Badr has also ordered a fine of Rs 45,000 to the guilty woman.
On 7 November 2023, the police registered a case on the order of the Juvenile Justice Court of Bundi. A case of kidnapping and sexual abuse of a minor boy was registered against the accused woman Lalibai Mogia. The victim’s mother has lodged a police complaint in this case. The mother alleged that Mogia had seduced her son to Jaipur. Both stayed at a hotel, where Mogia gave his son a liquor and forcibly made physical relations with him for 6-7 days.

Based on the complaint of the woman, the police registered a case under Section 363, Kidnapping, Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (Poxo) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). After preliminary investigation into the case, the police arrested the accused woman Mogia. The woman was then granted bail. The government prosecutor confirmed that the court sentenced the woman to 20 years in jail and a fine of Rs 45,000.
Police found a minor boy from a house in Jaipur. He was then medical examination. According to the complainant, the victim used to go to play with her son at the house of the accused woman, which the accused took advantage of. 17 witnesses were produced during the hearing of the case.
